At 16:46 on September 16, 2014, the automatic observation and recording robot “SID-1,” which operates unmanned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, captured two fast-moving UAPs.

This is the recorded footage of the two white, glowing UAPs.

・Date and time of recording (JST = UTC+9): From 16:46:51 on September 16, 2014
・Recording camera: SID-1 automatic observation and recording robot
・Direction from camera to point of appearance: North
・Elevation angle from camera to point of appearance: 25 degrees
・Location of recording: Minami-Senju, Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, 100 meters above ground level
・Weather at time of recording: Clear
・Temperature at time of recording: 27.5°C
・Wind direction and speed: South-southeast, 3.9 m/s
・Visibility: 20 km

Two capsule-shaped UAPs, glowing white and aligned vertically, were recorded moving at considerable speed from the north to the northeast and then toward the east, as seen from SID-1. Their flight path extended over the northern part of Tokyo, from the direction of Kita Ward toward Adachi Ward and over Edogawa Ward.

A similar capsule-shaped UAP was recorded four months later, in January 2015, over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida, USA. It was captured by the forward-looking infrared (ATFLIR) sensor, developed by Raytheon, mounted on an F/A-18 fighter jet flying overhead after the object had launched from near the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

This footage was officially released by the U.S. Department of Defense on April 27, 2020, and was widely reported by media outlets around the world.

One of the videos is known as GOFAST.

Amazingly, not only do these UAPs share a similar capsule-like shape, but their length-to-width ratio is also exactly the same: 1.80 to 1.00.

Given that both objects are capsule-shaped and have the same axial ratio, it is highly likely that they are the same type of craft. It suggests the possibility that similar capsule-shaped UAPs are flying in the skies all over the world. Furthermore, detailed analysis has already ruled out the possibility that these objects are birds, airplanes, helicopters, drones, airships, balloons, weather balloons, optical glare, natural phenomena, or lens artifacts such as ghosts or flares.

Regarding the two UAPs captured this time, the exact distance from SID-1 to each object remains unknown. However, based on the weather data at the time—clear skies and 20 km visibility—it is estimated that they were flying at a distance of roughly 10 to 20 kilometers. Their altitude is estimated to be around 1,000 meters, and their size likely spans several tens of meters.

By calculating based on the duration of their movement within the captured footage and the above estimates, their speed would be between 1,300 km/h and 2,600 km/h or more. This exceeds Mach 1 to Mach 2, making it comparable to the speed of a jet aircraft.

However, this figure raises a significant question.

In most countries, including Japan, supersonic flight at low altitudes over land or urban areas is generally prohibited except in emergency situations.

Given that, it becomes highly unlikely that these were man-made aircraft such as commercial airliners or conventional jets.

Moreover, considering the smooth capsule-shaped design of the UAPs and the absence of any visible propellers or rotary wings, it is difficult to classify them as any known Earth-origin flying vehicles.
