Mariko Kawana

Born in Tokyo, Japan. Writer. After graduating from Joshibi Junior College of Art and Design, she worked in publishing and as a freelance writer. She made her debut as a novelist in 2011 with the erotic novel "Gibo no Enka" (Futabasha), and debuted as a horror and true ghost story writer in 2014 with the collection "Akai Jigoku" (Kosaido). Since then, she has continued to write prolifically, publishing numerous novels and true ghost story collections. Her recent works include "Maika Kitan" (Shobunsha), "Jitsuwa Kaidan: Shutsubotsu Chitai" (Kawade Shobo Shinsha), and Jitsuwa Kitan: Jujou (Takeshobo Bunko).
