EXCLUSIVE: Triangle UFO Formation Appears Over Tokyo—Expert Analysis of Footage Strikingly Similar to Pentagon-Confirmed UAP

In the early hours of September 11, 2015, an advanced robotic observatory silently monitoring the skies above Tokyo captured something extraordinary. At just after 4 a.m., a massive, triangular formation of lights materialized out of thin air, hovered, and then vanished. The stunning footage was recorded by SID-1, an autonomous observation robot operated by the Space Phenomena Observatory Center (SPOC) in Japan.
This sighting is now gaining new relevance as it bears a striking resemblance to the flashing, triangular UAPs filmed by U.S. Navy personnel in 2019—footage that was later officially acknowledged by the Pentagon.
At first glance, the object appeared to be a single, solid triangular craft. However, detailed image processing and slow-motion analysis revealed a crucial detail: clouds could be seen drifting between the three points of light. This proves it was not one large object, but three independent luminous bodies that appeared simultaneously in a perfect triangular formation where nothing existed moments before.
Close examination also reveals that each primary light was accompanied by a smaller, secondary light. The entire process of the UAP’s appearance and disappearance was captured over five distinct frames of video.

Analysis of the surrounding clouds before and after the event shows no disturbance, confirming the objects materialized and dematerialized in place. This was not a triangular craft, but a formation of three distinct UAPs.
Ruling Out Conventional Explanations
To determine the nature of this phenomenon, SPOC conducted a thorough analysis, systematically ruling out all conventional explanations:
Aviation Traffic: Flight records and radar data confirmed no aircraft, helicopters, or airships were in the area at the time of the sighting.
Known Objects: The objects’ behavior and appearance did not match that of birds, drones (which are banned over central Tokyo), kites, weather balloons, radiosondes, or even fireworks or flares.
Optical Illusions: The phenomenon was confirmed to be neither lens flare, ghosting, nor reflections from building aviation lights.
Atmospheric Phenomena: The weather conditions were not conducive to the formation of plasma, ball lightning, or Transient Luminous Events (TLEs) like sprites, elves, or gigantic jets, as there were no thunderstorms in the region.
After eliminating every known natural and man-made possibility, SPOC concluded that the mysterious triangular formation can only be classified as a genuine Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) or UFO.
Data and Expert Analysis
Sighting Details:
Date/Time (JST): September 11, 2015, 04:11:15 AM
Weather: Clear
Temperature: 21.4°C (70.5°F)
Wind: North, 2.1 m/s
Location: Koto Ward, Tokyo (from an altitude of 150m)
Direction from Camera: Northwest
Elevation Angle: 40°
Analysis:
While similar UAP formations have been filmed worldwide, this case is unique because it was autonomously recorded by a scientific instrument from before the event, during, and after its conclusion. It provides a complete, uninterrupted sequence of a UAP materializing and dematerializing.
The sighting echoes other significant events, including the multiple lights filmed over Lake Michigan, Chicago, in March 2021, and a similar formation over Tacoma, Washington, in May 2021. Most notably, it aligns with the characteristics of the pyramid-shaped UAPs that the Pentagon confirmed were filmed by the U.S. Navy.
The footage from SID-1 is not an isolated event. The SPOC observatory has captured other compelling images of triangular UAPs, further establishing a pattern of these mysterious objects appearing in the skies over Japan. The work of SPOC, led by director Hiroshi Kitajima, continues to provide invaluable data in the ongoing global effort to understand these unexplained phenomena.
