Initially, Hulsey estimated there were “probably three” objects. But just 20 minutes later, the situation escalated. He reported that the number of objects had grown to seven, and they were flying at an altitude of at least 5,000 to 10,000 feet above his own aircraft.

Another pilot, Chris Van Voorhis, who witnessed a similar phenomenon on a separate flight, confirmed the bizarre nature of the objects in an interview with the Daily Mail.

“We had another airline ask us if we were seeing what they were,” Van Voorhis stated. “They were seeing very brightly lit-up lights.” He was quick to dismiss common explanations like Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites. “Starlink moves in a straight line, and they all go in the same direction,” he explained. “What we saw were objects going in different directions. They were not acting like anything we’re used to seeing.”

According to some accounts, at least one pilot attempted to film the spectacle, while another claimed to have seen something even more disturbing: an alien-like face peering out from the cockpit of one of the mysterious craft.
